My name is homer keen i am 18 years old and i am a special ops sniper. Ive been in this war for one year now. My brother fookes keen and I lived in Italy at the time our home was raided. We got sepparated unforntunatle and I went with my father and we moved to Germany and as far as i know my brother and mother fled to Russia. I am currently a Luitenant 2nd class in the German army the most powerful army in Europe. Im am living a very harsh life right now we are living in a tiny little two room apartment. Im am rarely there anymore because of the war but im planning on making it out alive and rejoining my brother and family.
During the the christmas time of the year we had some activities that we like to do. One of these activities we loved to play was soccer we played this all the time almost everybody loved it. Another thing we also done was we would trade chocolates and jam to the other armies because for that one day all the countrys allied together for like a peace day.
After the war nobody was happy at all, we lost. although i had made it home safely. I have no clue what has fallen upon my brother or my mother or father. I am still planning on rejoining with my family and meeting a women that i love and having a family with someday.

How we got into the war.
We got into the war by the scheffelin plan where it failed. we invaded belgium to try to surround the france by coming from the top of france instead of the side like they would suspect. russia was unindustrialized so we knew we had some time to attack france before they could gather up the troops and move them closer to our border.
How we reacted to the archduke franz Ferdinand from Austria-Hungary assassination.
We were almost shocked when we found out about the assassination of the archduke. This meant we were dragged into the war because we were good allies with Serbia.
The battle plans and weapons and tactics we will use.
The scheffelion plan was a big part of our battle plan because we had planned on invading belgium and coming from the top of france so that they would not expect us attacking from that side. It did not work as planned because then it made great britain mad that we invaded belgium and that got them into the war. We ended up retreating in the end because russia had mobilized quicker than we had planned them too so we had to go protect that border. Two of our main weapons was our U-boats, other countries called them submarines though. Our favorite and best ground and troop gun was the machine gun this was able to be set up in trenches and hold back many troops at once with its fast rate of fire.

With russia leaving the war it meant to us that we did not have to defend our north eastern and most of our eastern border anymore without them in the war. How ever one of our U-boats sunk a united states vessel and this is the reason the united state came into world war 1. This is a big change in the war because the United States is a force to be reckoned with they will join great britain and france against my home country.

We were joyed to hear of the treaty of Versailles because this meant that russia would be leaving the war and we would have so much less to worry about with enemies surrounding us on almost all sides.
